Funding program: Innovation Fund EU
Project owner: HydrogenPro ASA
Grant: €16.5 million
Global House played a central role in securing funding for HydrogenPro’s H2-GIGA project, which will establish a large-scale factory for new generation of efficient electrodes, which are a key component in future cost-effective alkaline electrolysers and will enable more cost-effective green hydrogen production.
In 2024, Global House successfully guided the fundraising process that resulted in:
- €16.5 million grant from the Innovation Fund EU, which is EU’s flagship program for breakthrough climate technologies resulting in CO2 reductions
- DKK 35,4 million grant from Danish EIFO’s Green Industrial Production scheme, covering 15% of the project’s costs
Global House’s contribution included developing the overall funding strategy, preparing detailed financial models, drafting the application, business plan, feasibility study, and knowledge-sharing plan, as well as coordinating with both EU and Danish funding authorities. Acting as the project’s dedicated funding partner, Global House ensured that the complex application process was managed efficiently, ultimately securing a total subsidy rate covering 72% of all project costs.
